Mumble
The /g/eneral Mumble Server
We are running a Mumble server at monocul.us using the default Mumble port (64738).
Mumble is a secure, open-source, and low-latency voice communication platform, making it a great alternative to Teamspeak and Discord.
Why Choose Mumble?
Mumble offers better security and privacy compared to Teamspeak 3 and Discord:
- End-to-End Encryption – Unlike Teamspeak 3, which only encrypts authentication data, Mumble encrypts all voice communication by default.
- No Centralized Control – Unlike Discord, Mumble is self-hosted, meaning no company can mine your data or shut down your server.
- Low Latency – Designed for real-time communication with minimal delay, perfect for gaming or voice chat.
- Open Source – Completely free and community-driven, with no hidden costs or data collection.
